What is the start time for League of Legends’ Clash beta this weekend?

Gather your team and get ready for the League of Legends Clash beta

This weekend, the much-anticipated Clash beta for League of Legends finally arrives. After months of testing, the global tournament will take place on December 7th and 8th, as well as the following weekend on December 14th and 15th.

Participate in the tournament for exclusive rewards

Each day of the tournament is a separate event, giving you the chance to participate in one or both brackets. There will be eight teams per bracket, and the tournament follows a single elimination format. However, teams that are eliminated early will still have the opportunity to compete in a consolation bracket for exclusive Clash rewards.

What time does the Clash beta start?

The Clash beta starts at 7:30pm CT on Saturday, December 7th. The tournament begins with the “Lock In Phase,” followed by a Bracket Formation Phase, and finally, a Scouting Period lasting five to ten minutes. This gives teams the chance to strategize and ban certain champions.

On Sunday, the competition continues, with lock-in times varying based on your tier placement. Higher tiers will have later start times, ranging from 7pm CT to 9pm CT.

When will Clash officially launch?

This beta period will serve as the final testing phase before Clash officially launches in early 2020. Riot Games has stated that it will take a few months to make any necessary changes based on the beta feedback, ensuring that Clash becomes a staple in the League of Legends client.
