Gamers Prepare for the Premiere of Paramount Plus’ “Players”

A new series, called “Players,” aims to change that. Premiering on Paramount Plus, the show follows a fictional League of Legends team as they strive to win the championship. Unlike previous documentaries, such as Valve’s “True Sight” and “Free to Play,” “Players” is designed to catch the attention of casual viewers.
When is the Premiere Date for “Players”?
“Players” will premiere on June 16 exclusively on Paramount Plus. Subscribers will have access to the first three episodes upon launch, with new episodes releasing every Thursday.
The series aims to showcase all aspects of esports, highlighting both the thrilling highs and the crushing lows. While fans typically only see the most prestigious events featuring the world’s top players, “Players” delves into the journey and struggles of reaching the pinnacle of esports.
