League of Legends offers players various resources to collect and use for items through the shop and Hextech Crafting. While players can obtain these resources by playing the game, developers also organize special events where players have the opportunity to collect them.
One such resource is Blue Essence, which can only be obtained during specific periods of time through Essence Emporium events.
What is the Essence Emporium in League of Legends?
Essence Emporium events are sales events that allow players to purchase a wide range of cosmetic items using Blue Essence. These events occur twice a year, starting from the eighth season of the game in 2018.
The Essence Emporium features a shop where players can buy exclusive items using Blue Essence, including one or two exclusive skins like Urfwick.
While the event has been taking place twice a year for a while, it underwent some changes after its last iteration during the previous summer. The exact details of its return and any modifications are still unknown.
“Beyond making the Emporium more efficient to run, we’re also exploring navigation and usability improvements for when (not if) it returns,” stated the developers in the patch notes released on June 23, 2022. However, Riot Games has not provided any further updates on the matter since then.
