The League of Legends Championship Series is in its playoff stretch run, with the eighth week of the NA LCS featuring hard-fought matches. Here are the top daily fantasy matchups on Skrilla.

NA LCS Week 8 Day 2

Clutch Gaming vs. Echo Fox

Clutch Gaming and Echo Fox are the top two teams in the league in K:D ratio, but they achieve it in different ways. Clutch Gaming has fewer kills but significantly fewer deaths compared to other teams. Echo Fox, on the other hand, excels in securing kills. It’s uncertain how these playstyles will translate into fantasy points, but considering Echo Fox’s matchup against a slow and safe team like Clutch Gaming, it may be wise to avoid their expensive players.

Flyquest vs. Counter Logic Gaming

Both of these teams have a high number of deaths in the league, but Counter Logic Gaming performs well in terms of scoring points. Assuming Counter Logic Gaming will win this match, they are a solid investment for fantasy with a favorable matchup against the league’s worst team. Players like Choi “HuHi” Jae-hyun can be good options, despite their high price.

Start — Cody Sun, ADC, 100 Thieves, 17,100

For an average salary, you get the league’s leading player in kill participation and K:D ratio in a strong matchup.

Sit — Hai Lam, Mid, Golden Guardians, 15,600

Hai’s matchup against 100 Thieves doesn’t provide many opportunities for him to score points. Consider looking at other players with similar price points, like Team Liquid’s Eugene “Pobelter” Park.

Start — William “Meteos” Hartman, Jungle, 100 Thieves, 8,750

Meteos may not be setting records like he used to, but at his current salary, he is a great bargain. He still maintains a strong K:D ratio and kill participation, and going against Golden Guardians offers him a good chance to capitalize on that.

Sit — Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell, Top, Team SoloMid, 15,950

Although Hauntzer is usually a consistent performer, it may be better to invest his relatively high salary in another position this week, considering his tough matchup against Team Liquid.

NA LCS Week 8 Day 2

Echo Fox vs. Counter Logic Gaming

The most aggressive team in the league is facing a team that gives up a high number of deaths. It’s a smart strategy to stack your lineup with Echo Fox players, as they are likely to score well in this matchup. Support player Adrian Ma, top laner Heo “Huni” Seung Hoon, and mid laner Kim “FeniX” Jae Hun are all great value picks this week.

Optic Gaming vs. 100T

While the rivalry between Matt “Nadeshot” Haag’s team and his old home may be intense, this matchup may not offer the most fantasy points. Both Optic Gaming and 100T are among the least aggressive teams in the league.

Start — Kim “Fenix” Jae Hun, Mid, Echo Fox, 14,650

Despite having the lowest kill participation among mid laners in the league, Fenix’s high kill count compensates for it. At his current price, he has the potential to score the highest points this week.

Sit — Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, ADC, Team Liquid, 16,550

Although Doublelift is usually a reliable pick, his matchup against Clutch Gaming doesn’t bode well for fantasy points. While he may want to perform strongly to secure Team Liquid a playoff spot, it’s unlikely to generate significant fantasy numbers.

Start — Matt Elento, Support, Golden Guardians, 13,550

Matt may have a slightly higher price compared to other supports, but he has a favorable lane matchup against Flyquest, a team that tends to give up kills and extra CS.

Sit — Darshan Upadhyaha, Top, Counter Logic Gaming, 18,600

Darshan, the most expensive top laner, is not performing well in fantasy this season and has a challenging matchup against Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon. It’s better to avoid him unless you want to waste your Skrilla.
