Week 5 of EU LCS and NA LCS Summer Split
Week 5 of the 2016 European League Championship Series (EU LCS) and North American League Championship Series (NA LCS) Summer Split took place yesterday. Here is a recap of the action:
H2k-Gaming TIE ROCCAT
In Game 1, ROCCAT took an early lead and H2k struggled to catch up. However, H2k made a comeback in Game 2 and managed to secure a tie.
FC Schalke 04 TIE Unicorns of Love
In Game 1, Unicorns of Love dominated the match and secured a victory. But in Game 2, FC Schalke 04 fought back and won the game, resulting in a tie.
Splyce 2-0 Team Vitality
Splyce won both games against Team Vitality. The first game was a slow-paced match, while the second game was more fast-paced and aggressive.
G2 Esports TIE Origen
In Game 1, Origen won a long, drawn-out match. However, G2 Esports changed their strategy in Game 2 and played aggressively, leading them to victory.
Giants Gaming 2-0 Fnatic
In both games, Giants Gaming punished Fnatic’s aggressive playstyle and secured easy victories, resulting in Fnatic’s first winless week of the split.
Team Liquid 2-1 Cloud9
Cloud9 won the first game convincingly. However, Team Liquid fought back and won the next two games, with strong performances from mid-laner Fenix and jungler Dardoch.
Team EnVyUs 2-1 Echo Fox
Echo Fox put up a good fight in Game 1, but Team EnVyUs managed to secure the victory. EnVyUs also won Game 2 and Game 3 with strong objective control and pushing power.
