League of Legends Fans Pick Fiddlesticks and Volibear for 2020 Champion Updates
League of Legends fans recently participated in a global vote to choose the champion they wanted to receive a visual gameplay update in 2020. After the votes were counted, Fiddlesticks and Volibear emerged as the winners.
Fiddlesticks received 24.42 percent of the vote, while Volibear received 24.69 percent. Shyvana came in third place, followed by Nocturne and Dr. Mundo. Since Fiddlesticks and Volibear were so close in votes, Riot Games has decided to start updates for both champions in 2020.
For Fiddlesticks, Riot will focus on enhancing his ambushing playstyle, while maintaining his scarecrow theme. The goal is to make him even scarier.
As for Volibear, his thunder lord persona will be taken to the next level. His kit will be redesigned around the concept of a lightning-fueled demigod, emphasizing his role as an unstoppable force on the Rift.
Riot Games regularly involves the League of Legends community in decision-making processes. Fans recently had the opportunity to vote for the next champion visual gameplay update, and before that, they were asked to choose the next Tristana skin.
