Vitality Brings Back Four-Fifths of Worlds Roster with Cabochard and Jactroll Re-signing

Team Vitality Extends Contracts of Top Laner and Support

French esports organization Team Vitality has announced that it is extending the contracts of two of its Worlds roster members. Top laner Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet and support Jakub “Jactroll” Skurzyński will be with the team for another two years.

Vitality already has star mid laner Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro and bot laner Amadeu “Attila” Carvalho under contract through 2019. With the extension of Cabochard and Jactroll’s contracts, four-fifths of the team’s Worlds roster will be back together to compete in the new LEC. Head coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi was also extended last year through 2020.

Vitality made a surprising playoff appearance in their first competitive split last spring, relying on a group of rookies instead of veteran players. The addition of jungler Mateus “Kikis” Szkudlarek in the middle of the Summer Split provided the team with a significant boost. Kikis helped organize his younger teammates and led them to victories, earning himself an MVP candidate status. However, Kikis is currently a free agent and it is uncertain if he will return to the team for their first year in the franchised LEC.

While other European teams are undergoing changes this offseason, Vitality is showing commitment to the players who helped them reach Worlds.
