Viper from EDG named MVP of the 2021 LPL Spring Split

LPL 2021 Spring Split MVP Award Goes to EDG’s Viper

The LPL 2021 Spring Split regular season has come to an end, and the players are now receiving their end-of-season awards. Along with the All-Pro teams, the Spring Split MVP has also been announced.

EDG’s Viper has been named the regular season MVP and “rookie” of the split, according to Kevin Kim from Korizon Esports. While the MVP award is well-deserved based on Viper’s impressive performances throughout the split, the “rookie” title may seem out of place. Despite having previously competed in the League of Legends world championship, this is Viper’s first split in the LPL, qualifying him as a rookie.

Viper played a crucial role in helping EDG secure numerous victories, even when facing large gold deficits. He is known for his selfless playstyle, always supporting his team’s calls and initiating engagements. Additionally, Viper has one of the lowest average death rates in the 2021 LPL Spring Split, ranking favorably in other important statistics. His exemplary performance and consistency make him the backbone of EDG’s exceptional gameplay.

If you want to watch Viper and his teammates in action, don’t miss the playoffs starting tomorrow. EDG will be competing against the winners of the third round in a king-of-the-hill format on April 8.
