EDG’s Viper has been named the regular season MVP and “rookie” of the split, according to Kevin Kim from Korizon Esports. While the MVP award is well-deserved based on Viper’s impressive performances throughout the split, the “rookie” title may seem out of place. Despite having previously competed in the League of Legends world championship, this is Viper’s first split in the LPL, qualifying him as a rookie.

Additionally, Viper has one of the lowest average death rates in the 2021 LPL Spring Split, ranking favorably in other important statistics.
