Vietnamese Fans Can Watch the LCK in the Upcoming Summer Split

LCK Announces Format Changes and Vietnamese Broadcast

The LCK has announced several format changes for the upcoming Summer Split, set to begin in two weeks. One of the major updates is the introduction of a Vietnamese broadcast for the first time, expanding the reach of the league. In addition to Korean and English, fans can now enjoy LCK games in Chinese, German, French, Italian, and Vietnamese.

Expanding to the Vietnamese Market

Vietnam, known for its passionate League of Legends fanbase, shares many similarities with neighboring China. With the recent expansion of European broadcast teams, the LCK recognizes the potential of the Vietnamese market and aims to capitalize on it.

Changes to Player Roster Rules

The LCK has also implemented changes to the system for making roster adjustments. Previously, teams were only allowed to make changes at the start of each round or before the playoffs. Now, roster changes can be made every two weeks during the split, giving teams more flexibility with their lineups.

The Summer Split of the LCK will kick off on June 9, featuring a match between Sandbox Gaming and Brion Esports. Both teams are looking to make a stronger impression this split compared to their previous season performances.
