V5’s Karsa Sets New LPL Jungle Record with 17 Kills in a Single Game

Karsa Breaks Record for Most Kills in an LPL Game

In today’s matchup between Victory Five and JD Gaming in the 2022 Spring Split Playoffs, Karsa, the jungler for JD Gaming, broke the LPL record for the highest number of kills in a single game for a jungler. He achieved an impressive KDA of 17/1/12 in game three.

Karsa Dominates with Viego Pick in Playoffs

Karsa had previously picked Viego in three regular season games but only won one match with the champion. However, in the playoffs, his performance with Viego was exceptional, dominating the enemies when playing the champion in the right composition.

During the best-of-five series tied at 1-1, the 25-year-old jungler locked in Viego. In game three, Karsa showcased his dominance by being present across the map and participating in all but five of V5’s kills in the match. His initiations in teamfights were exceptional, constantly getting resets on enemy champions and making himself unkillable. The second-highest number of kills in the third game was achieved by JDG top laner 369, with a total of nine kills.

In addition to his high kill count, Karsa displayed brilliant objective control and showcased his overall exemplary skills on Viego. Mastering Viego requires a deep understanding of every champion’s strengths, and Karsa excelled by utilizing his abilities and resets perfectly in the match. Thanks to his strong objective control, his team swiftly overpowered their opponents and secured the victory, advancing in the LPL 2022 Spring Split playoffs.

Karsa will next face the loser of tomorrow’s match between Top Esports and RNG as V5 continues their lower bracket run.
