Upset LoL Players Plead with Riot to Weaken This ‘Unenjoyable’ Item

League of Legends players demand nerf to Duskblade item

League of Legends players are unhappy with the Duskblade of Draktharr item and are calling for developers to make it weaker in the future.

In a Reddit thread posted on June 18, players expressed their complaints about the Duskblade of Draktharr and its unique ability that grants champions immortality and invincibility to non-structures after eliminating an enemy champion within three seconds of dealing damage to them.

“Why do we need an item that can make you invincible and untargetable?” asked the poster of the thread. “How long do we have to endure this unfun experience with Duskblade?”

Many players agreed with the original poster, stating that it’s incredibly frustrating when champions become untargetable. They believe that such an item should not be available to any champion.

While some players tried to maintain a positive outlook by mentioning that the upcoming nerfs would be based on extensive data gathered over the past month since its introduction, others insisted that a nerf was necessary and should be implemented as soon as possible.

The current passive ability was added to the Duskblade of Draktharr on May 17 in Patch 13.10. It replaced the previous ability that granted invisibility for 1.5 seconds after eliminating an enemy champion three seconds after damaging them. However, many players also considered this previous ability to be broken.

The next update for League of Legends, Patch 13.13, is expected to be released on June 28.
