Upcoming Annie Changes in League Patch 13.2

Annie Receives Major Tweaks on League of Legends PBE Servers

The PBE servers for League of Legends were recently updated alongside the release of Patch 13.1 on Jan. 10. These changes are expected to go live with Patch 13.2.

The champion that received the most adjustments on the PBE servers is Annie, who is already slated to receive several balance changes. Since Patch 12.12, where her Disintegrate and Summon: Tibbers were slightly buffed, the Dark Child has not undergone any significant modifications.

However, these previous tweaks were not enough to bring Annie back to the mid lane. She is rarely chosen and is considered an off-meta pick, rather than one of the strongest champions for the position in the current meta.

Therefore, Riot Games is now attempting to make Annie a more typical pick. The upcoming changes to her abilities are expected to further enhance her performance. It remains to be seen whether these changes will make her a more regular presence on the Summoner’s Rift.

Here are the tentative Annie changes coming in League Patch 13.2:

Pyromania (Passive)

  • Now starts with full stacks at the beginning of the game and upon respawning

Incinerate (W)

  • Reduced mana cost from 90-110 to 70-110

Molten Shield (E)

  • New: Deals damage when taking any damage, but only once per enemy per cast
  • Increased reflected damage from 20-60 (+20% AP) to 20-60 (+40% AP)
  • Base shield increased from 40-220 to 60-220
  • Decreased haste decay from 50% to 15-35%

Summon: Tibbers (R)

  • Tibbers’ health increased from 1300-3100 to 1300-3100 (+75% AP)
  • Tibbers’ resistances increased from 30-90 to 30-90 (+5% AP)

Patch 13.2 is expected to be released on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
