The recent League of Legends Worlds 2016 Music Video featured some interesting Easter eggs. Here’s what they mean.

Season 1: Finals

The images symbolize the early days of League of Legends esports, before Riot Games formed the League Championship Series. It also references the famous xPeke backdoor play and the comeback of Against All Authority against Fnatic in Game Two of the series.

Season 2: Finals

Azubu Frost was expected to win the Season 2 finals against the Taipei Assassins, but the Taiwanese team surprised everyone and became the champions of the LMS region.

Season 3 – Group Stages

Team SoloMid made a daring Baron steal to stay in the game during the Group Stages, while Fnatic’s sOAZ attempted a game-winning play against Oh My God. However, OMG shut them down in their last effort.

Season 5 – Finals

The video also features the final moments of the SK Telecom T1 vs. KOO Tigers match from Worlds 2015, which is still remembered by fans. This builds excitement for Worlds 2016 in North America.

The video also shows SKT’s Faker eating broccoli, fulfilling a promise he made after winning Worlds for the second time. Fans wonder if he will win a third time and eat the whole thing.
