Unicorns of Love Frustrated with Lack of Practice Ahead of European Gauntlet
Unicorns of Love, a top esports team, is feeling frustrated and unprepared as they enter the European gauntlet without any practice. Both Fnatic and Splyce, two other teams in the tournament, have canceled their scheduled practice sessions with Unicorns of Love.
In an official statement, Unicorns of Love called out Fnatic and Splyce for their last-minute cancellations, expressing their disappointment and calling the situation unprofessional. The team had planned to practice against both sides in order to prepare for the tournament.

Splyce coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi and Fnatic coach Nicholas “Nico” Korsgard were responsible for canceling the practice sessions, which greatly impacted Unicorns of Love’s preparation.
In response to Unicorns of Love’s statement, YamatoCannon defended himself and placed the blame on Giants Gaming, another team in the tournament, who refused to scrim entirely. According to YamatoCannon, he had to prioritize ensuring that his own team, Splyce, was adequately prepared.
Unicorns of Love will face Giants Gaming, who are also lacking practice, in the first round of the gauntlet. While the situation is less than ideal for Unicorns of Love, they may find some comfort in the fact that their opponents are in a similar predicament.
