Unicorns of Love Adds New Jungler, Says Goodbye to Move

Unicorns of Love Replace Jungler after IEM Oakland Win

The champions of IEM Oakland, Unicorns of Love, have announced a change at the jungler position. The team made this decision after consulting with players and management.

Previously, the Unicorns had Korean player Kang “Move” Min-su as their jungler. Move joined the team in early 2016, coming from the NA LCS where he played for Gravity Gaming during the 2015 Summer Split. He was even awarded as the most outstanding rookie of that split.

During his time with Unicorns of Love, Move helped the team reach the semifinals of the EU Summer Playoffs and secure the IEM Oakland championship last weekend.

Move’s departure comes as a surprise, considering the team had recently announced that all five starting players were contracted through 2017, implying that the lineup would remain the same.

While the replacement for Move has already been chosen and signed, the player is still awaiting Riot approval. According to an ESPN Esports report, the new jungler for Unicorns of Love will be 17-year-old Andrei “Xerxe” Dragomir, formerly of the Turkish team Dark Passage. This aligns with an interview conducted by the team’s manager, Romain “Khagneur” Bigeard, where he mentioned that the new jungler had just turned 17.

It will be interesting to see how the Unicorns of Love perform with their new jungler in the upcoming tournaments.
