UNDERDOGS in LEC maintain dominant streak, securing first finals appearance in spring season

Team BDS Makes History, Reaches LEC Spring Finals

Team BDS has been on a dominant run this Spring Split, winning 14 out of their 16 games played. They swept Team Vitality 3-0 in the upper bracket finals to secure their spot in the LEC Spring Finals.

AD carry Crownie played a crucial role in today’s sweep, dealing immense damage with his late-game-focused picks. In game three, he showcased his skills on Jinx, shredding through Vitality’s frontline and keeping their carries at bay. Crownie had an impressive scoreline of 17/2/24 and was named the “Player of the Series.”

Vitality still has a chance to make it to the Spring Finals, but they’ll have to win two best-of-fives in the lower bracket finals against either G2 Esports or MAD Lions on April 22.

If Team BDS wins the grand finals, they’ll secure a direct ticket to MSI as the top seed. The Spring Split champion will be placed directly into the bracket stage of MSI, while the Winter Split champion will have to go through the play-in stage. However, if G2 Esports wins the Spring Split, the second team going to MSI will be determined by championship points.

The LEC Spring Finals will take place on April 23, where Team BDS will compete for the championship title.
