Twitch Streamer Banned from League for Intentionally Feeding Game with Faker

League of Legends Streamer Banned for Intentional Feeding in Game with Faker

Twitch streamer Simon “Thebausffs” Hofverberg has been banned from using his Korean server account after intentionally feeding on Sion in a ranked game with pro superstar Faker.

Thebausffs Challenges Himself in South Korea

An EU Challenger player for many years, Thebausffs traveled to South Korea on April 1 to test his skills in the highly competitive online League environment. He is known for his unique playstyle centered around Sion and wanted to see if it could hold up against the best players in Korea.

In just a few weeks, Thebausffs reached Challenger rank in Korea, despite occasionally intentionally feeding on Sion.

Game with Faker Leads to Ban

On April 25, Thebausffs played a game with T1 mid laner Faker and used his infamous “int’ing Sion” strategy in a Korean solo queue game. However, the game didn’t go well for him and he finished with a record of 2/18/9 on Sion.

Shortly after, Thebausffs received a ban notification, leaving him and his fans stunned. They initially believed Riot had banned him, but Thebausffs claimed it was a misunderstanding.

Thebausffs clarified that the ban was not directly related to the game with Faker, but rather a result of standard League security protocols. His account had been locked due to suspicions of account theft triggered in the game’s security system.

After being unbanned, Thebausffs started streaming under the title “Unbanned and Reformed,” showcasing better behavior in his matches.

Now back to streaming League, Thebausffs is determined to maintain good behavior as he continues his journey on the Korean ranked ladder.
