TSM’s starting top laner for the 2019 NA LCS season is replaced by Broken Blade, replacing Hauntzer

TSM Announces Roster Change for 2019 NA LCS Season

TSM has officially announced that they will be parting ways with their long-time top laner, Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell. His replacement for the upcoming NA LCS season will be Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik.

Broken Blade expressed his excitement about joining TSM, stating, “When I first started playing League, I always used to watch TSM from home. To know that I am now a part of it means a lot to me. It’s a great honor and I’m really proud to be part of such a big organization. I can’t wait to play with legends like Bjergsen and Zven, and I will do my best to fulfill the expectations of the fans and the team.”

In addition to this roster change, TSM recently signed Andy “Smoothie” Ta, formerly of Cloud9 and Echo Fox, as their new support. It is unclear at this time whether Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg and Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen will also remain with TSM.

TSM has stated that they are in discussions with other organizations to find a new team for Hauntzer and will provide further details in a later announcement. Hauntzer had been with TSM since November 2015.

After a disappointing 2018 season, TSM is determined to make the necessary roster changes in order to reclaim their position among the top teams in North America.
