TSM Secures First Victory in LCS Spring 2022 with Epic Comeback; Tactical Sets LCS Damage Percentage Record

TSM Makes Epic Comeback Against Immortals

TSM fans everywhere rejoiced today as the team achieved one of the most impressive comebacks of the League of Legends season so far in their match against Immortals.

Leading up to this game, TSM had been considered one of the worst teams in the LCS with a 0-4 record. It was the first time in TSM’s history that they had failed to win any of their first two weeks of play. To add to their struggles, the team brought in Yursan from the Academy to join the starting lineup, leaving fans with little hope.

However, in this game, TSM decided to try a unique strategy. They placed Tactical, their AD carry, on a hyper carry while the rest of the team played supportive-style champions to bolster his strength. For example, Huni played Lulu in the top lane to shield and protect his allies in later stages of the match.

Unfortunately for TSM, Immortals drafted a composition specifically to counter this strategy. Their top laner Revenge picked Camille, using his laning advantage to constantly push TSM and force them into fights at a disadvantage. Additionally, TSM struggled to deal enough damage in mid-game teamfights since they had to wait for Jinx to scale up.

However, Immortals couldn’t end the game quickly enough to stop Tactical’s Jinx from farming and becoming a major threat. At the 30-minute mark, Immortals tried to engage on the marksman, but Tactical’s excellent movement allowed him to kite away from the initial attack and deal significant damage in return. In just two teamfights and three minutes, Immortals lost their lead.

As a result, Tactical was named the Player of the Game, having dealt the highest percentage of damage in LCS history and securing nine kills, two assists, and only one death.

This win could be a major turning point for TSM, as they try to find their rhythm and establish their true starting lineup for the 2022 LCS Spring Split.
