TSM Secures First Place in 2021 LCS Summer Split after Victory against Dignitas in Week 3

Dignitas Falls Short against TSM as Akaadian Returns to the LCS Stage

In his first game back since June 2020, Dignitas jungler Akaadian couldn’t lead his team to victory against TSM, his former team.

Akaadian Steps In for Dignitas

Akaadian was given the opportunity to start today’s game for Dignitas in the jungle position after their regular starter Dardoch was benched. Akaadian had previously played for Dignitas but was benched last season due to a losing streak.

Akaadian’s Performance

In his first top-level game in almost a year, Akaadian had a KDA of 1.2 with a scoreline of 1/5/5. This is lower than his KDA of 3.8 in the North American Academy scene.

TSM’s Victory and Huni’s Dominance

TSM secured a victory thanks to Huni’s outstanding performance on Rumble. His 85-percent kill participation showed his dominance throughout the game.

With this win, TSM has taken the first place in the LCS standings. Tomorrow, they will face off against Cloud9, renewing one of the oldest rivalries in North American history.

“It feels good to be back in first place,” said Huni. “Hopefully first place isn’t a curse for us.”

Dignitas’ jungle situation remains uncertain, and it is unknown whether Akaadian will continue to start for the team. Tomorrow, they will face Counter Logic Gaming to close out their weekend.
