TSM announces Maple as their starting mid laner for 2022 LCS Summer Split

TSM Adds Veteran Mid Laner Maple to Roster for Summer Split

After an underwhelming season, TSM’s League of Legends team is making changes for the upcoming Summer Split. The organization has announced that Huang “Maple” Yi-Tang, former mid laner for PSG Talon and Flash Wolves, will be joining the roster. Maple will be playing alongside top laner Huni, support Shenyi, AD carry Tactical, and jungler Spica.

TSM made the announcement on Twitter, stating that Maple’s experience and leadership will be crucial to the team’s success. The coaching staff believes that Maple is among the top three mid laners in the LCS based on his skill level and nine years of competitive experience.

Maple expressed his excitement about joining TSM and his desire to bring a new playstyle to the team. He hopes to help TSM qualify for Worlds and achieve better results in the NA region.

In his previous stint with Anyone’s Legend in the LPL, Maple had limited playing time and did not have the opportunity to move forward with the team. However, he had a successful run as the starting mid laner for PSG Talon in the PCS, helping the team achieve a perfect record in the 2021 Summer Split.

TSM had a disappointing spring season, but the addition of Maple brings hope for improvement. The organization’s VP, Dominic Kallas, acknowledged that rebuilding will take time but expressed confidence in TSM’s ability to regain its winning culture.

With Maple joining the team, TSM fans can look forward to a fresh start and a stronger performance in the upcoming Summer Split.
