TSM Adds Talented Junior League of Legends Squad for Amateur Tournaments

TSM Launches Junior League Team to Create a Pathway for Young Players

TSM, one of the most well-known esports organizations in North America, is introducing a Junior League team, as announced by the org yesterday. The team aims to provide aspiring young League players with a more direct route to the professional scene.

This initiative by TSM is a response to the challenge faced by many talented players who struggle to find the right opportunities to make it big. While there is no prior evidence to support this approach, TSM believes that this remote-only team of youngsters can address this issue.

TSM stated in their announcement, “Over the years, highly talented players in solo queue have sparked constant discussions within the League community. These players are often believed to possess the skill and determination to play at a professional level, but they face difficulties in finding a path to pro, often due to being too young or choosing higher education.”

The novice team will compete in amateur tournaments against other amateur teams, as confirmed by TSM. The organization has already signed three young players, including Austin “Sarcasm” Tran as the jungler and Rico “Sword” Chen filling the mid lane, both of whom were invited to TSM’s internal scouting grounds in December. The third player, Johnson Nguyen, was directly selected from solo queue as the bot lane carry.

TSM is currently looking for players to fill the remaining two roles of top and support. If you or someone you know matches the requirements of this new project, you can apply through the official form provided by TSM.
