Thresh and Darius to Receive Nerfs, Lux Getting Buffs in League Patch 11.10

League of Legends Patch 11.10 Preview: Nerfs and Buffs

League of Legends gameplay design director Mark “Scruffy” Yetter has shared a sneak peek of the changes coming to the game in Patch 11.10.

A total of twelve champions are set to receive nerfs and buffs in Patch 11.10, which is a smaller number compared to the previous patch. Notable changes are expected for solo laners, with champions like Galio and Darius receiving nerfs. Darius will experience an increase in the cooldown of his Apprehend ability, making it less favorable for engaging opponents.

Assassins such as Talon and Katarina will also receive nerfs to their attack damage and movement speed, respectively.

Focus on Supports in Patch 11.10

Supports will undergo significant adjustments in Patch 11.10. Champions like Thresh and Bard will face nerfs, while damage-dealing supports like Lux and Zyra will receive major buffs to their core abilities.

Thresh’s power has been gradually decreasing over the course of 2021, and his base health will be reduced in Patch 11.10, impacting his early-game potential significantly.

On the other hand, Lux will see a damage increase to her ability Lucent Singularity, particularly in the later stages of the game. This will solidify her role as a burst-focused mage.

Kennen and Kayle are among the champions receiving significant buffs in this patch, which will likely introduce more ranged champions to the top lane meta.

Release Date for Patch 11.10

Patch 11.10 is scheduled to go live on May 12, according to the official League patch schedule.
