The truth of Noxus uncovered in the latest League of Legends lore update

League of Legends Lore Update: The True Nature of Noxus Revealed

This week, the latest League of Legends lore update delves into the secrets of Noxus, focusing on the enigmatic Black Rose and its leader, LeBlanc.

The short story, titled “Thrones of the Black Rose,” takes readers on a journey through the Immortal Bastion, an ancient fortress in Noxus. A young man named Hadrion leads his cousin, Brannin Granth, as they seek vengeance against Noxus’ new leader and the Black Rose.

Throughout their journey, the story sheds light on the Noxians’ disdain for Grand General Swain, who is seen as a usurper by the Black Rose. The duo eventually discovers a chilling truth about Noxus: a well of souls and a city filled with defaced statues. In this eerie setting stands Sion, a lifeless monster who was once a Noxian general.

Hadrion then reveals her true identity as LeBlanc, removing a veil to reveal the body of the real Hadrion. Multiple LeBlanc clones appear, and Granth pledges his loyalty to the Black Rose. LeBlanc marks him with a sigil and vows to overthrow Swain.

In addition to this update, the biographies of Cassiopeia, Mordekaiser, and Sion have been updated to reflect the new direction of the Noxian Empire.
