Taking Risks
Riot Games is still taking risks with their game, and that’s a good thing. Sure, the timing could be better, especially in the middle of the professional season. But League of Legends won’t continue to thrive if they only focus on fixing and balancing things. Sometimes, they need to shake up the meta and challenge players to innovate.
Disappearing Tanks
Tanks no longer dominate the meta, and it’s a good thing. While tank champions aren’t bad, relying on them for big teamfights has become predictable and stale. The rise of tanks led to a meta where only ADCs could effectively kill them, which made them overpowered. Now, we’re seeing more diversity and bruisers returning to the scene.
What about Crit Champions?
The recent shift away from marksmen in the bot lane is a welcome change. While Riot may have gone overboard with the nerfs, the ADC class needed some tuning. They have traditionally had a limited champion pool and relied on right-click mechanics. It’s about time they learn something new and expand their playstyle.
Don’t Overreact
It’s important not to overreact while Riot is experimenting with new things. Marksmen will come back, and the meta will continue to shift. These changes may disrupt professional teams, but for casual players, it’s better to embrace the patches and adapt.
