The Most Epic ‘In-Game’ Easter Eggs in League of Legends

Best League of Legends easter eggs

Rengar and Kha’Zix showdown

Lunar Guardian Kha'Zix skin from League of Legends.

If the two top predators of Runeterra are on opposing teams, they’ll receive a quest to kill each other. Rengar must have his Bonetooth Necklace fully stacked, while Kha’Zix must reach level 16 and spend all his evolve points. The winner receives a reward, adding extra damage or an ability to their champion.

Sentinels of Light

Senna dons a white jacket and an incredibly large gun, one that allows her to control the Black Mist.

Senna and Thresh, sworn enemies in the lore, have a massive showdown in the game. If Senna collects 100 Mist and Thresh has at least 40 Souls, they’ll be given a quest to take each other out. The winner receives a substantial reward, with Thresh getting even more if he defeats Senna and/or Lucian.

Battle for Freljord

In the battle for Freljord, Sejuani, Ashe, and Lissandra fight for control over the Nordic-inspired kingdom. Each champion has a different vision for the region’s governance. Unfortunately, this easter egg was removed from the game, but it remains a memorable and legendary event in League lore.

“Tons of damage”

Dubbed the “GOAT,” Phreak became popular for his champion spotlights where he described characters as doing “tons of damage.” Riot decided to include this phrase in the game, and typing “tons of damage” in the item search would display the Trinity Force item.

Vilemaw’s dance

In the 3v3 mode of League, players discovered that if they danced near Vilemaw, the spider creature would join in with his own joyous movements and jumps. It was a fun and cute easter egg in the game.

Distinguished Order of Ward Longevity and Health

Wards are crucial in League of Legends, and wards that have been active for at least two minutes and thirty seconds are recognized as part of the “Distinguished Order of Ward Longevity and Health.” It’s a small but amusing easter egg for those who prioritize vision in the game.
