The enchantment continues: Riot unveils the report for the Star Guardian event

Riot Games’ Social Impact Fund Raises $6 Million for Non-Profit Organizations

Riot Games has expanded its Social Impact Fund, which aims to support struggling organizations worldwide, through its popular games VALORANT and League of Legends. Previously, the fund focused on individual skins like Dark Star Cho’Gath to raise funds. However, last year, Riot expanded the fund to cover entire events. Through the Sentinels of Light campaign, the company successfully raised $5.8 million for 30 non-profit organizations. This year’s fundraiser, the Star Guardian event, raised an impressive $6 million.

The official Twitter account of League of Legends announced that the Star Guardian event raised $6 million, which will be distributed to 400 organizations across 25 different causes worldwide. The success of the event can be attributed to the popularity of the Star Guardian Taliyah skin, with its captivating splash art, chromas, and impressive effects.

Riot’s Social Impact Fund continues to grow and make a significant impact each year. It enables the company to support more non-profit organizations and help them achieve their goals. The company’s dedication to social impact was recognized last year when it received the Golden Halo Award for the Dawnbringer Karma fundraiser.
