League of Legends Summer Split Finals to be Held in Detroit

Riot Games announced today that the 2019 LCS Summer Split finals will be held in Detroit. Rocket Mortgage will be the presenting sponsor of the event.

The finals will take place on August 24 and 25 at the Little Caesars Arena. Riot expects to attract over 15,000 esports fans to the venue.

Ticket information will be available to the public on June 18 through the official League of Legends esports website.

“We are excited to announce Rocket Mortgage as the first presenting sponsor of LCS Summer Finals,” tweeted LoL Esports. The partnership promises an action-packed weekend of intense competition.

“We always strive to bring League of Legends to new locations around the region and are excited to offer one of the top esports events in North America to the passionate fans in Detroit for the first time,” said Chris “Chopper” Hopper, Riot’s head of esports for North America.
