TF Blade Achieves Challenger Rank on Korean Server with a Remarkable 64% Win Rate

TF Blade Reaches Challenger in Korean Solo Queue

Popular League of Legends streamer TF Blade has achieved a major milestone by reaching Challenger in the Korean solo queue ladder. With an impressive 394 LP, the 20-year-old now ranks among the best in the region.

A Goal to Conquer Every Server

TF Blade set out to reach the top rank on every server in the world. He successfully climbed to rank one in the competitive Europe West server in May 2019, and prior to that, he achieved the same feat on the North American and Latin American servers in the previous year.

A Challenge in the Competitive Korean Server

TF Blade still has some way to go before reaching rank one in Korea, as the region presents its own challenges. Known for its immense talent, Korea is known to be difficult to climb. Currently, Seorabeol Gaming’s Park “Thal” Kwon-hyuk holds the number one spot in the country with an impressive 1,473 LP, 190 games played, and a 53% win rate.

TF Blade, on the other hand, has played 301 ranked games and maintains a 64% win rate. He primarily plays Jax with a 70% win rate in 128 games. If Jax is unavailable, he opts for champions like Irelia, Tryndamere, or Renekton.

Overcoming Doubts and Adapting to Succeed

Many doubted TF Blade’s ability to reach Challenger after struggling in the Korean Diamond tier for a significant amount of time. However, through determination and effort, he was able to adapt his playstyle to the region and find success.

Concerns Amidst the Coronavirus Outbreak

One potential obstacle TF Blade may face in the future is the increasing concern of the coronavirus in Korea. As a precautionary measure, the LCK has decided to continue the 2020 Spring Split without an audience or press activities. If the situation worsens, TF Blade may have to return home. However, for now, he remains focused on staying safe while striving for the number one spot.
