Team Vitality Signs Haru as New Jungler for 2022 LEC Summer Split, Parts Ways with Selfmade

Team Vitality Introduces New Jungler for 2022 LEC Summer Split

Team Vitality has officially announced the departure of jungler Selfmade as they prepare to kick off the 2022 LEC Summer Split. In his place, the organization has introduced Kang “Haru” Min-seung as their new jungler. This move, which was first reported by Upcomer in May, has now been confirmed just days before the start of the split.

A Need for Change

Vitality stated that it is important to be able to adapt and explore new options when two different playstyles cannot be mixed together. In addition to bidding farewell to Selfmade, the team expressed their gratitude for his contributions and reassured fans that they are actively helping him find a new team where he can continue to succeed.

Welcoming Haru to the Team

To enhance their chances of a successful Summer Split and secure a spot at the 2022 World Championship, Vitality has recruited former world champion Haru. Haru previously secured the Summoner’s Cup in 2017 and has since played for top Korean organizations such as Samsung Galaxy, Gen.G, and T1. Despite not competing in a major league in recent years, Vitality’s head coach Mephisto has high hopes for Haru and believes he will lead the team to more victories and success.

A Promising Addition

In addition to Haru, Vitality has also signed Zhou “Bo” Yang-bo, former jungler for FunPlus Phoenix, as a substitute. The organization sees “superstar potential” in Bo but understands the need for time to adjust to a new country, culture, and language.

With this roster change now official, League fans will eagerly await the first match of the 2022 LEC Summer Split on June 17th to see the new Vitality roster in action.
