Team Vitality releases YamatoCannon and adds 3 new players for 2020 LEC season

Team Vitality announces their 2020 LEC roster

Today, Team Vitality revealed their full roster for the upcoming League of Legends season. The European team has made some changes, including the departure of their head coach, Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi. They have also brought in three new players to strengthen their lineup.

Aljoša “Milica” Kovandžić, previously from Vodafone Giants, will be replacing Daniele “Jiizuke” Maura, who joined Evil Geniuses during the offseason. Additionally, Vitality has promoted Duncan “Skeanz” Marquet from their Academy team to take on the role of the jungler. They have also acquired Markos “Comp” Stamkopoulos from Team-LDLC to complete the roster as the AD carry.

The top laner, Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet, and support player, Jakub “Jactroll” Skurzyński, will continue to be part of the lineup for the next year.

However, one of the biggest losses for Vitality fans is the departure of their former head coach, YamatoCannon. He has been an influential figure within the team since 2017.

Hadrien “Duke” Forestier, the former head coach of Splyce, will be taking over as the head coach for Vitality in the 2020 LEC season. In addition, Vitality has signed Louis-Victor “Mephisto” Legendre as an assistant coach, previously working under Fnatic.
