Team Vitality and Adidas Collaborate to Introduce Yellow Stripes: An Open Tour Roster

Team Vitality Partners with Adidas to Compete in League of Legends Open Tour France

The popular esports organization, Team Vitality, has announced its participation in the upcoming 2022 League of Legends Open Tour France. To strengthen their team, Vitality has partnered with Adidas to create Yellow Stripes, a semi-pro team consisting of promising players from the French scene.

Introducing Yellow Stripes: The Next Generation of European Talent

The Yellow Stripes lineup comprises Matias “matias” Manchin Opheltes, Alexis “Artoria” Diebold, Lorenzo “Linkkey” Giorgiutti, Julian “eaRyz” Wehinger, and John “Sotsy” Sicre. Through this partnership, Team Vitality aims to nurture these talented players and pave the way for them to become the future stars of European esports.

A Promising Bootcamp and Support System

In a recent bootcamp conducted at Team Vitality, Yellow Stripes underwent intensive training. Fabien “Neo” Divide, Vitality’s co-founder and esports director, expressed his happiness with the partnership, stating, “We’re delighted to have a partner in Adidas who is not just interested in having their brand represented on the biggest stages in esports, but are committed to helping develop and support the pros of tomorrow.”

All members of Yellow Stripes will receive the same treatment as the organization’s main lineup. This includes access to the team’s training facility and collaboration with Vitality’s LEC performance staff. To further support the players, Adidas will provide them with their own jerseys and a dedicated mentor to guide them through their early careers.

A Unique Opportunity for Rising Stars

Vitality’s investment in the amateur scene emphasizes their commitment to fostering young talent. Neo stated, “This project is a unique opportunity for these young players to learn and grow into what we hope will be a great sporting career in the future. They have challenges ahead of them, but we have every ambition to get them to the final of the Open Tour.”

Coach and Team Manager

Leading Yellow Stripes to success is coach Benjamin “Fara” Stoffel, while Martin “Krok” Berthelot, a content creator and caster, will serve as the team manager for 2022.

Debuting in the League of Legends Open Tour France

Yellow Stripes will make their official debut in the League of Legends Open Tour France on January 29. This tournament provides a platform for rising stars to showcase their skills and potentially join professional League of Legends teams. The team’s journey will be documented through an eight-episode YouTube series that follows their progress in the tournament.

Exciting Times Ahead for Team Vitality

While Yellow Stripes prepares for the Open Tour, Team Vitality’s main LEC team is gearing up for the 2022 LEC Spring Split, which commences on January 14. Their first match will be against MAD Lions, as they strive to secure their first LEC championship.
