Team SoloMid qualifies for NA LCS playoffs

Team SoloMid Punches Ticket to LCS Spring Playoffs

In a close call, Team SoloMid (TSM) has secured their spot in the League Championship Series (LCS) Spring Playoffs. With just one week remaining in the Spring Split, TSM joins league leaders Immortals, Counter Logic Gaming, and Cloud9 in the playoffs. Despite a loss to Renegades in their second game of the week, TSM has managed to secure at least sixth place.

A Rocky Season for TSM

TSM’s season has been filled with ups and downs. After winning seven out of their first 10 games, the team made the decision to fire their coach. Since then, they have only won two games, but have still secured a playoff spot. This week, TSM defeated Team Impulse before their loss to Renegades, who had only won three games this season. A loss to Team Dignitas in week six also hindered TSM’s progress.

Echo Fox’s Loss Gives TSM Edge

Due to Echo Fox’s loss to Counter Logic Gaming, TSM is now three wins ahead of Rick Fox’s side. Although Echo Fox has a record of 5-3, their chances of reaching the playoffs now depend on Team Liquid or NRG Esports losing both of their final games. This would force a playoff match and give Echo Fox a shot at making it to the playoffs.

The Danger Zone

Renegades, Dignitas, Team Impulse, and Echo Fox are all in a precarious position as they fight to secure their spot in the Summer Promotion tournament.

Immortals, the current league leaders, continue their winning streak despite a tough match against Dignitas. If Immortals defeat TSM and Impulse in the upcoming week, they will finish the split with a record of 17-1.
