Team Liquid Seeks Position Coaches for League of Legends Team

Team Liquid Takes Coaching to the Next Level in League of Legends

Looking to gain an edge over the competition, Team Liquid is expanding its coaching staff for League of Legends. While most teams take a macro approach to coaching, focusing on strategy and team composition, Team Liquid is breaking it down to the positional level. By hiring position coaches, they aim to improve player skills on a micro level. This move mirrors sports like football, where coaches train players in specific techniques.

The Benefits of Positional Coaching

Positional coaches can analyze specific lane matchups, providing pro players with valuable information on how to play and win those matchups. They can also practice one-on-one matchups with the players to enforce new tactics. Additionally, coaches can tailor strategies for players using statistics and reports from analysts.

The Requirements and Opportunities

Team Liquid is looking for high-level players who are at least masters and can speak Korean and English if applying for mid lane or AD carry positions. The coaching role is remote and part-time, but if you’re in the area, you can work in the team’s Santa Monica office.

Aside from position coaches, Team Liquid also has an open spot for a head coach after the departure of Peter Zhang. With their dedication to expanding the coaching staff, Team Liquid aims to become the top team in League of Legends.
