Team Liquid rumored to acquire Broxah from Fnatic

Team Liquid Reportedly Acquiring Fnatic’s Broxah as Their 2020 Jungler

Team Liquid, the top team in North America, is making a significant move for the upcoming 2020 season. According to ESPN, they are in the final stages of securing a deal with Fnatic to acquire Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen as their new jungler. This move comes as Jake “Xmithie” Puchero’s contract expired at the end of the 2019 season.

SK Gaming’s Selfmade Replacing Broxah in Fnatic

In a related development, Fnatic has reportedly bought out Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek from SK Gaming to replace Broxah in their starting lineup. This announcement was expected since it was known that Broxah would be leaving Fnatic.

Team Liquid’s Domestic Success and International Hurdles

Team Liquid has established themselves as the dominant force in the North American League of Legends scene. They have emerged victorious in the last four consecutive LCS split playoffs. However, their performance on the international stage, particularly at the World Championships, has been less than satisfactory. Despite winning the Summer Split championships in both 2018 and 2019, Liquid failed to finish higher than ninth at Worlds in either year.

Hopes for Broxah’s Impact on Team Liquid

With the addition of Broxah, Team Liquid is hoping to change their fortunes at international events. Broxah has achieved top eight finishes at Worlds in 2017 and 2019, even reaching the grand finals last year. Team Liquid will be relying on his expertise and experience to bring success to their organization in Burbank.
