League Player TF Blade Joins Team Liquid’s Academy and LCS Rosters

Top League solo queue player, Ashkan “TF Blade” Homayouni, has officially become a substitute for both Team Liquid’s Academy and LCS teams, as announced by Team Liquid on Thursday. Despite joining the teams, Blade will continue to stream full-time.

TF Blade’s Journey to Becoming the World’s Top Player

TF Blade will be embarking on a tour of several regions in an effort to become the world’s undisputed top player. Team Liquid hopes that his experiences during this tour will make him a “more complete player.” His journey will begin in Europe and continue with visits to the United States, Australia, and South Korea.

TF Blade’s Achievements and Goals

TF Blade has already participated in three official competitions, winning first place at the 2017 Tyler1 Championship Series and finishing second in the following year’s tournament. He also placed in the top 16 in the Twitch Rivals event. In an interview on Team Liquid’s website, TF Blade expressed his excitement about facing G2 Esports’ mid laner Rasmus “Caps” Winther and SK Telecom T1 top laner Kim “Khan” Dong-ha during his world tour. He also mentioned his eagerness to meet fellow Team Liquid streamer Drew “Midbeast” Timbs in Australia.

Team Liquid Academy will kick off the Spring Split on Thursday with a match against Cloud9 Academy. Liquid’s LCS team will also begin the LCS season with a match against Cloud9 on January 26.
