Team Heretics, the newest organization to join the LEC, has announced that Jakob “Jackspektra” Gullvag Kepple will continue as their starting AD carry for the upcoming 2023 LEC Spring Split. Jackspektra, who joined the team at the beginning of this year, has played a key role in Heretics’ rise to success over the past two seasons.

During the Spring Split, Heretics faced difficulties in the LVP SuperLiga and finished in eighth place with a disappointing 8-10 record. However, the team made significant changes for the following season, including a switch in their top laner and coach, which led to remarkable improvement. They climbed to second place in the standings with an impressive 12-6 record and became the champions of the LVP SuperLiga after losing only one game in the playoffs.

Heretics continued their momentum into the summer European Masters, where they advanced to the knockout stage and secured the top spot with two of their three best-of series going to a full five games. Jackspektra stood out as the top performer in the tournament, leading all players with 90 kills in 20 games and maintaining the fourth-highest KDA according to Oracle’s Elixir.
