Team achieves first win in LPL by upsetting EDward Gaming

Team WE Upsets EDward Gaming in LPL Match

Team WE, currently ranked 15th in the LPL, shocked fans by defeating EDward Gaming in a 2-0 victory. This is a significant win for Team WE, who had previously been struggling to secure a win this season.

Team WE’s Journey from Glory to Obscurity

In the past, Team WE was known for their dominance in competitive League of Legends. However, they have struggled to maintain their elite status in recent years. Despite a comeback in 2017, the team quickly fell from the top spot and faded into obscurity. The 2018 season was particularly challenging for them.

A Desperate Battle for Victory

Team WE’s struggle continued into the 2019 season, as they found themselves at the bottom of the standings after losing their first two games. Their match against EDward Gaming seemed like a lost cause, as EDG had a strong performance in last year’s World Championship and consistently ranked in the top five of the LPL.

A Surprising Turn of Events

Despite the odds, Team WE took the initiative and dominated the early stages of the game against EDward Gaming. While EDG made a comeback, Team WE managed to secure victory in a team fight, with substitute player Jin “Mystic” Seong-jun playing a crucial role. The second game was more one-sided, with Team WE confidently securing a substantial gold lead and ultimately winning 2-0.

This victory boosts Team WE to 12th place in the standings and will undoubtedly give them a newfound confidence in their upcoming match against FunPlus Phoenix, who currently sits in second place.

Team WE’s next game will take place after the Chinese New Year celebrations on February 17. The LPL will be on a hiatus starting from tomorrow, January 30.
