Tactical Replaces Doublelift on Team Liquid for Matches Against CLG and Immortals

Team Liquid Announces Tactical as Starting ADC for Upcoming Matches

Team Liquid has revealed that Edward “Tactical” Ra will be replacing Doublelift as the starting ADC for their matches against CLG and Immortals, according to Liquid owner Steve Arhancet. Arhancet took to Twitter to announce that Liquid has signed Richard “Rikara” Oh for their Academy League roster, allowing both Tactical and Doublelift to focus solely on the LCS. The starting ADC position will be evaluated on a weekly basis, Arhancet added.

Tactical’s Impressive Performance

Tactical stepped in for Doublelift in Liquid’s previous matches after Doublelift lost his voice due to laryngitis. In the two games against TSM and 100 Thieves, Liquid emerged victorious, with Tactical finishing both games without a single death. This exceptional performance has showcased Tactical’s skill and value to the team.

Team Liquid’s Season Progress

With a 4-6 record and starting without their jungler Broxah, Liquid had a challenging start to the season. However, after the back-to-back wins against TSM and 100 Thieves, they now find themselves tied for third place in the standings. The team’s strong performance, including Tactical’s contribution, has been instrumental in their climb up the rankings.

Doublelift’s Struggles

Doublelift, along with the rest of Team Liquid, has faced difficulties in the spring split. His KDA is currently the lowest among all LCS bot laners, highlighting the need for a change in the starting ADC position. It remains to be seen how this decision will impact Doublelift and the team moving forward.

The first match featuring Tactical as the starting ADC will take place on Saturday, March 7, at 6pm CT.
