Tabzz takes over Safir’s spot on Roccat.

ROCCAT Makes Changes to Bottom Lane

Just three weeks into the League Championship Series split, ROCCAT has made a major change to its bottom lane. After facing visa problems, Edward “Edward” Abgaryan has left the team, and now ROCCAT has decided to drop AD Carry Mohammed “Safir” Tokhi in favor of veteran Erik “Tabzz” Van Helvert.

Struggling in the European LCS

Currently, ROCCAT sits at 1-5 in the European LCS standings, with only Giants having a worse record. To make matters worse, their only win of the split came in the opening game, leaving them on a five-game losing streak.

From Newcomer to Replacement

Tokhi joined the team during the offseason following several ROCCAT players leaving for other teams. As a newcomer to the LCS, there were mixed expectations for him. Unfortunately, Tokhi failed to meet LCS standards in the opening weeks.

A Familiar Face Steps In

Taking Tokhi’s place is Van Helvert, a veteran player well-known among LCS fans. Van Helvert has played for Lemondogs, Alliance, and Elements in the European LCS, even competing in the world championship. He will make his debut for ROCCAT against Unicorns of Love and Fnatic in week four.
