T1’s Rookie Top Laner Burdol Achieves Rank One in Korean Solo Queue

T1’s Burdol Reaches Rank One in League of Legends Solo Queue on Korean Server

T1’s trainee top laner, Noh “Burdol” Tae-yoon, recently achieved rank one in League of Legends solo queue on the Korean server, according to stats site OP.GG and Korizon Esports translator, Kevin Kim.

Burdol, who is only 16 years old, joined T1 in May 2019 and has been performing exceptionally well in solo queue. He is following in the footsteps of other T1 players who have been promoted to the main roster. One notable example is T1’s current top laner, Canna, who dominated solo queue and took over the starting spot on T1 from veteran top laner Roach in November.

Burdol’s Impressive Rank One Achievement

Burdol’s incredible achievement of reaching rank one in Korean solo queue puts him in competition with three Damwon Gaming accounts and one from the LPL’s Suning, as reported by Kevin Kim. Among these accounts, two reportedly belong to Showmaker, Damwon’s mid laner who has been dominating the LCK.

While it’s uncertain how long Burdol will maintain his rank one position, this accomplishment solidifies him as one of the best solo queue players on one of the most competitive League servers in the world.

Potential Promotion for Burdol

If Burdol continues to perform well and show improvement, there is a possibility that he may replace veteran top laner Roach in the next split. Roach hasn’t performed at his best in games where he has filled in for T1 on stage. However, this is not confirmed.

Although Burdol doesn’t have an official English stream, you might catch glimpses of him on the T1 Esports Twitch channel.
