T1 Keria Shares Unexpected Insights on League’s Champions Queue

T1’s Keria Enjoys the Champions Queue Experience

Keria, the support player for T1, recently shared his positive experience in the Champions Queue for the 2022 League of Legends World Championship. In an interview with Travis Gafford, Keria described the encounters in the Champions Queue as “refreshing and fun.”

Riot Games introduced a Discord server for pro players to communicate during their matches in the Champions Queue, which is a first for the League. Keria expressed his appreciation for this new feature, as communicating with other pro players while playing is not as easily accessible in Korea’s solo queue.

When asked about memorable matches in the Champions Queue, Keria mentioned two players: jojopyun and Doublelift. He was impressed by the talkative and energetic nature of jojopyun in their first game. As for Doublelift, the retired LCS pro’s stream with thousands of viewers pushed Keria to try his best to win.

T1 has been placed in Group A of Worlds 2022 along with EDward Gaming, Cloud9, and Fnatic. Their first match will be against the LPL’s third seed on Friday, Oct. 7 at 8pm CT.
