SwordArt reunites with former Suning teammates at Weibo Gaming

Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh Returns to LPL and Joins Weibo Gaming

Popular Taiwanese support player, Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh, has made a comeback to the LPL and reunited with his former Suning teammates on Weibo Gaming.

SwordArt’s Departure from TSM

In October, SwordArt decided to part ways with North America’s TSM. Despite being the highest-paid player in the LCS with a reported $6 million contract, he failed to meet expectations and ended the season in fourth place.

Joining Weibo Gaming

Weibo Gaming announced today that after friendly negotiations, SwordArt has joined their League of Legends branch as a free agent. According to a machine translation of the organization’s statement, he will be reuniting with his former teammates.

Weibo Gaming’s Lineup

Weibo Gaming, a Chinese social media platform, acquired Suning’s LPL slot in November. They have retained their starting lineup, consisting of jungler Lê “SofM” Quang Duy, mid laner Xiang “Angel” Tao, AD carry Tang “huanfeng” Huan-Feng, and support Luo “ON” Wen-Jun.

The Final Touch to the Roster

The organization recently said goodbye to top laner Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin and welcomed former Invictus Gaming top laner Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok to their team. With the addition of SwordArt, the six-man roster is now complete, bringing back the squad that reached the finals of the League of Legends World Championship in 2020.
