Svenskeren joins Cloud9

Cloud9 Adds Svenskeren to League of Legends Roster

Cloud9 has announced the addition of Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen to its North American League of Legends Championship Series roster.

Svenskeren, formerly of TSM, has achieved significant success during his time in North America, including three NA LCS titles, a first-place finish at Rift Rivals, and two World Championship appearances.

However, Svenskeren has also faced criticism for his overly-aggressive play style and TSM’s struggles to properly play around him as a jungler. This criticism was particularly evident during the recent World Championship, where TSM failed to advance into the bracket stage.

Despite these criticisms, Svenskeren has remained a solid jungler within the NA LCS, with his problems primarily being exploited on the international stage.

This roster change follows Juan “Contractz” Arturo Garcia’s surprising departure from Cloud9 last week. Contractz, considered one of Cloud9’s best players during the World Championship, was acquired by the Golden State Warriors-backed NA LCS team, Golden Guardians.

Cloud9 recently returned from the World Championship, where they achieved a top-eight finish, outperforming the other two NA LCS teams in attendance.
