Surprising Return Expected as Rekkles Comes Back to Fnatic

Martin “Rekkles” Larsson Returns to Fnatic for 2023 Season

According to independent journalist Brieuc Seeger, Martin “Rekkles” Larsson is set to return to his former team, Fnatic, for the 2023 season. The popular League of Legends player will join Fnatic as an AD carry. This news comes after reports that Rekkles was open to exploring options in the support position.

Rekkles has a history with Fnatic, spending a total of six years with the organization. He first played for Fnatic in 2014, then went on to join Alliance and Elements for a short period before rejoining Fnatic in May 2015. In November 2020, he made a move to G2 Esports, where he played for a year. After failing to qualify for Worlds 2021, Rekkles joined LFL’s Karmine Corp, competing in the French scene this year.

Rekkles’s contract with Karmine Corp is expected to expire next year. If the reports of his return to Fnatic are accurate, Fnatic will have to buy him out from the French organization.

Fnatic Aims to Replace Hylissang

In addition to Rekkles’s return, Fnatic is reportedly looking to replace Hylissang after five seasons on the team.
