Support player achieves outstanding KDA performance in Worlds 2022 group stage

League of Legends Worlds 2022: T1’s Support Player, Keria, Surprises with High KDA

League of Legends Worlds 2022 is currently underway, and as always, Asian teams are dominating the group stage. However, one player stands out among the rest. T1’s support player, Ryu “Keria” Min-seok, has an impressive KDA of 15.4, according to Gol.gg statistics.

A Surprising Performance

Support players in professional matches usually play tanks and focus on engaging in teamfights or sacrificing themselves for the team. Therefore, it is unexpected to see Keria with such a high KDA. While other supports at Worlds 2022 are playing engage supports, Keria has been mainly using enchanter supports like Yuumi, Nami, Soraka, Thresh, and Alistar. It is worth noting that Yuumi is his most played champion.

A Different Approach

Keria’s playstyle allows him to sit behind his team and provide buffs and healing. He has been using a heavy DPS build on Yuumi, specifically Luden’s Echo, to deal damage to the enemy frontline. This unique approach has earned him the third spot on the overall KDA leaderboard.

Worlds 2022 will continue on Thursday, Oct. 20.
