Star LEC support confirms absence from 2024 Winter Split starting lineup

Fnatic Support Trymbi Won’t be Starting in the Upcoming LEC Winter Split

After an eventful year with Fnatic, one of Europe’s top supports, Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus, recently announced that he has not found a new team for the upcoming 2024 season and will not be starting in the LEC Winter Split.

Trymbi expressed his surprise at how the offseason unfolded for him. Despite being granted permission to explore options in free agency, most teams had already solidified their rosters for the new year. However, Trymbi shared that Fnatic management had expressed their desire to continue working with him and considered him a high priority.

Despite the unexpected turn of events, Trymbi shared that he sees this as an opportunity to take a break and focus on personal growth. Having faced long seasons of non-stop competition, he believes that taking a few weeks for himself will be beneficial. It gives him time to reestablish routines that he had neglected throughout the year and reflect on the lessons he has learned.

Trymbi has been a prominent talent in the LEC since joining Rogue in 2020 and finishing as a top-three roster in their debut year. Although he has consistently qualified for the World Championship, he has yet to achieve significant success at the tournament.

However, Trymbi remains eager to return to the big stage next year. He has demonstrated his ability to elevate a team’s performance, as shown by his impactful stint with Fnatic during the summer, which propelled them to the World Championship once again.

In the 2023 LEC Summer Split, Trymbi boasted the highest KDA and the second-highest kill participation percentage of any support player in the league, according to Oracle’s Elixir. While he excels on engage supports like Alistar, Nautilus, and Rakan, he is also versatile and capable of playing utility-based champions to support his team.
