Splyce maintains complete League roster for 2017

Splyce Retains Full Roster for 2017 LCS Season

Ahead of the upcoming LCS season, Splyce has successfully retained its full roster after a disappointing performance at the 2016 League of Legends World Championship.

Ten days ago, Splyce’s top laner Martin “Wunder” Hansen, mid laner Chres “Sencux” Laursen, support Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle, and AD carry Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup entered into free agency, leaving only jungler Jonas “Trashy” Andersen on the official roster.

However, over the past week, each player has announced on Twitter that they have re-signed with the organization for the 2017 season.

With Wunder’s announcement today, Splyce will retain its full roster from the successful 2016 Summer Split, where the team secured second place in the playoffs, a vast improvement from narrowly avoiding relegation in the previous split.

Splyce has also retained their League coach, Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi, who was instrumental in the team’s improvement during the Summer Split and received the EU “Coach of the split” award.

As one of the few rosters to remain unchanged, Splyce now has the opportunity to improve upon their performance at the League World Championship in 2017.
