Spin Master signs global master toy license deal for League of Legends

Big Changes Coming to League of Legends Toys

Toys related to the popular game League of Legends could be getting a major makeover soon. Spin Master, a global toy and entertainment company, has announced its plans to develop new League of Legends products, including action figures, playsets, and role play items. These new toys are expected to hit the market in the fall of 2021.

This collaboration between Spin Master and League of Legends aims to appeal to fans of all ages. John Blaney, Spin Master’s senior vice president of licensing, stated, “Our League of Legends lineup will deliver high-quality products that are on the cutting edge.” Spin Master is known for creating some of the world’s most beloved children’s brands and toys, such as Bakugan Battle Brawlers and PAW Patrol.

League of Legends remains one of the most popular video games globally, with a peak of eight million daily concurrent users as revealed during Riot’s 10th-anniversary stream. By partnering with a children’s entertainment expert like Spin Master, the League brand may expand even further, appealing to a younger target audience.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on League of Legends merchandise, Riot has previously collaborated with Good Smile to produce figures for popular characters like Ezreal, Yasuo, and Ahri. In addition, they have plans for chibi Nendoroid figures and a scale action figure for Lux.
