SOAZ to be on rest for the remainder of Fnatic’s playoff campaign, Bwipo to substitute

Fnatic’s Top Laner sOAZ Will Miss Semifinals due to Injury

Fnatic, the popular esports team, has announced that their top laner, Paul “sOAZ” Boyer, will not be able to participate in the upcoming semifinals against Vitality due to an unspecified injury in his left hand. According to sOAZ himself in a video released by Fnatic, he is expected to be out of action for two to three weeks. Originally planning to reveal the injury on the day of his surgery, sOAZ decided to address his fans and provide an update today.

Fortunately, Fnatic has a capable substitute ready to step in for sOAZ. Gabriel “Bwipo” Rau, the substitute top laner, will be taking over until the end of the playoffs, regardless of whether it is the upcoming match or the finals. This is not a major cause for concern as Bwipo has already filled in for sOAZ in previous games this split and has shown impressive performance against teams like Unicorns of Love and Giants Gaming.

Therefore, fans can rest assured that Fnatic’s top lane is in good hands during sOAZ’s absence. The semifinal match against Vitality is scheduled for this Saturday, March 31, at 11am CT.
